While not free, the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) allows the DCPA (Denver Center for the Performing Arts) to offer discounted tickets tickets to spectacular DCPA shows for as little as $25 ($21.19 ticket (inclusive of a 10% city seat tax) plus 18% service fee)!
And the next DCPAccess Sale is happening Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at NOON MDT.
Be forewarned that tickets go FAST so get signed on and ready to BEFORE the sale starts!
IMPORTANT NOTE: While the date and shows for the next sale have been announced, the discounted ticket prices have not been revealed – I will update when that info is given.

The Who’s Tommy!

- This intimate play with music is a fictional account of what might have taken place behind the scenes during the making of the classic film Singin’ in the Rain.
- There’s lightning in a bottle but a storm behind the scenes at the studio where Gene Kelly begins work on the film. He’s determined to keep both his longtime collaborator Stanley Donen and trusted assistant Jeanne Coyne on set… despite the fact that they’ve just divorced, and Coyne appears to carry a torch for Kelly. To top it off, their producer is wrestling with the studio for resources, and newly hired co-star Debbie Reynolds can’t even dance. One of the greatest movie musicals of all time is born in this inventive backstage show featuring the classic music, songs and dance of Golden-era MGM.
Bluey’s Big Play

Is It Really Possible to Score Tickets From a DCPAccess Sale?
Yes! I was able to get a ticket to Lion King in that October 2025 and tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on April 7, 2026 for $35 EACH (including fees!) for seats that would have been 4 – 6x that price
