While not free, the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) allows the DCPA (Denver Center for the Performing Arts) to offer discounted tickets tickets to spectacular DCPA shows for as little as $25 ($21.19 ticket (inclusive of a 10% city seat tax) plus 18% service fee)!

The Sound of Music

  • DATES: July 29 – August 2, 2026
  • THEATER: Buell Theatre

  • ADVISORIES: This production includes depiction of Nazi iconography and references, as well as use of flashing lights.

Beetlejuice

  • DATES: August 4 – 9, 2026

  • ADVISORIES: Beetlejuice contains substantial theatrical haze and fog, sudden loud noises, mature subject matter, coarse language, and strobe lighting effects.
  • AGE RECOMMENDATION: Contains strong language, mature references, and a lot of the crazy, inappropriate stuff you would expect from a deranged demon.

    • He earned his stripes on Broadway… now the ghost-with-the-most is coming to Denver.
    • It’s showtime! Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book, an astonishing set, and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is “SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!” (Variety). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O!

Spamalot

    • Peter Marks of The Washington Post exclaims, “It’s UNFAIR to make me laugh this much! SPAMALOT is a tightly packed clown car speeding to musical theater nirvana!”
    • SPAMALOT, which first galloped onto Broadway in 2005, features a book & lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle. The original Broadway production was nominated for fourteen Tony Awards and won three, including Best Musical.
    • The musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the film classic, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, has everything that makes a great knight at the theatre, from flying cows to killer rabbits, British royalty to French taunters, dancing girls, rubbery shrubbery, and of course, the Lady of the Lake. SPAMALOT features well-known song titles such as “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” “The Song That Goes Like This,” “Find Your Grail” and more that have become beloved classics in the musical theatre canon.

Destiny of Desire: A Telenovela Play with Music

  • ADVISORIES: Mature themes, including theatrical violence, language, and staged intimacy.
  • AGE RECOMMENDATION: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is recommended for ages 8 and up.

    • A delightfully unapologetic homage to the classic telenovela – live onstage.
    • On a stormy night in Bellarica, Mexico, two baby girls are born – one into outlandish wealth, and one into a life of poverty. When the newborns are swapped by a ruthless ex-beauty queen, the stage is set for two outrageous misfortunes to grow into an extraordinary destiny. Brimming with energy and live music, Karen Zacarías’ hilarious hit, Destiny of Desire, takes you on an emotional rollercoaster sprinkled with the melodrama and wild antics that make the telenovela the most popular form of storytelling in the world.

  2. Tickets and classes will go fast!

  • DCPAccess ticket prices listed are only valid for select performances and within select Price Levels.

Is It Really Possible to Score Tickets From a DCPAccess Sale?

Yes! I was able to get a ticket to Lion King in January and tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on April 7 for $35 EACH (including fees!)

When is The Next DCPAccess Sale?

The second summer sale will be happening August 18!
