With Marriott’s broad hotel portfolio from beach resorts to urban luxury and vast footprint where you can book with this chainm this elevated welcome bonus has some serious potential value.

As always, DISCLAIMER for credit cards is that you should only consider getting these cards if 1. you are able to pay off your balances every month – if you pay interest, those rates are so high that they will negate ANY AND ALL rewards and 2. if you are not spending more money than you would otherwise. 2026 Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card Offer

So let’s dive in for a closer look at the sign up bonus and the benefits of the card to see if this might or might not make sense for you to get.

Annual Fee

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card has a modest $95 which you should be able to earn back (if not make money) from redeeming just one 50,000 Free Night Reward! Plus this card offers a number of recurring perks making it a keeper for many.

Free Night Awards

  • Each certificate is redeemable toward a one-night stay at a property requiring up to 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy points at standard award rates (standard room only).
  • You can top off a certificate with up to 15,000 of your own points to stay at hotels that cost up to 65,000 points/night-standard award rates.
  • Potentially you can get 250,000 points in value total if you use all five of your awards which is significantly more than the typical sign up bonus for this card (often it’s three 50K FNA

Important FNA Limitations

  • Free Night Award expires 12 months after they’re issued. You must use them before expiration as there’s no extension or transfer option.
  • Standard Room Only: Valid for a standard room only; you cannot use them to book a premium room/suite.
  • They cannot be combined with cash but you can combine a certificate with additional points to book higher-tier rooms.
  • Limited Availability: Some properties have few standard-room award nights available and many properties require more than 65K points.
  • Marriott Bonvoy does not waive resort fee when redeeming Free Night Awards or booking rooms on points (one of my least fave things with Marriott FNA!)

$100 Airline Credit

With this new offer, there’s a $100 airline credit that makes this Boundless® Card slightly more valuable. One positive if that this credit is easier to use than typical travel credits with it counting towards any eligible purchases made directly with airlines.

  • Cardholders can receive up to $50 back on airline purchases each half of the year after spending $250 or more directly with airlines in each period, for a total of $100 annually.
  • Book flight tickets, pay baggage fees, or pre-purchase upgrades with your Boundless card to trigger the $50 semi-annual flight statement credit
  • Track your spending windows (Jan–Jun and Jul–Dec) to ensure you hit the $250 airline spend in each period to get the full $100 back.

What else to consider with this Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card offer?

Best Ways to Use Your Free Night Awards for Maximum Value

To maximize the value of your free night awards (FNA), consider these strategies:

  • Target High Cash, Moderate Points Hotels: Using award at properties with high nightly cash rates such as international beach resorts or luxury city hotels which maximizes dollars saved per certificate.
  • Top-Off Smartly: Use up to 15,000 bonus points per night to access slightly higher category hotels that still deliver stellar value.
  • Plan for Peak Demand: Book stays during holidays, festivals, or peak travel weeks when paid rates are inflated. Remember that award availability may drop, so search early.
  • Book Higher-Tier Marriott Hotels: I love using these types of awards to stay at places that I would never stay at because I would not be spending that type of cash!

Who Should Consider Getting This Card

If you are certain that you can and will be able to use the five Free Night Award certificate ie already a property of two in mind, then yes, this is a great offer for you! One thing to consider that would be a big positive for Marriott is that they have the largest footprint for a hotel by a long shot and can be found in so many places where there is no Hyatt or Hilton!

Why This Card Might Not Be The Right Fit For You

Specifically the limitation of the awards is something that I urge you to really look at. Marriott has adopted a strict, no exceptions, completely black and white policy about the expiration, they will not extend the FNA. You must use them by the expiration date or you will lose them. Do some research beforehand as 50,000 Marriott points is not the same as 50,000 Hyatt points (which if you have been following me for awhile now, know how great this offer would be for Hyatt!)

But Maybe You Should Consider IF You Want The Ritz Carlton Card

One last thing that might throw a wrench in all of this is that the only way to get the Ritz card is by product changing an existing Chase Marriott Credit Card. Note that you do have to wait a year after getting this card before you are eligible to product change.

Final Takes

The current Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® offer with 5 Free Night Awards and $100 in airline credits could be a right match for you. With thoughtful planning with targeting high-value luxury and resort properties or peak demand periods, you can unlock significant travel value that far exceeds the card’s low annual fee.
