Right now, you can find lie-flat United Polaris business class on popular transcontinental routes for as low as 27,000 United MileagePlus miles and yes, there’s a catch.

These crazy low rates are only available to those with Chase’s co-branded United credit cards with rates more than quadruple the cost for non-cardholders. *I have heard that those holding United debit cards will sometimes see reduced saver rates but haven’t been able to confirm if they are seeing these rates.

• Airline: United Airlines

• Route: New York (EWR) to Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO)
• Cost: From 27,000 miles plus $5.60 one-way for United cardholders
• Travel dates: August and September 2026*
• Award seats: Up to 5 business class seats

How To Book

To book these great fares, you will need to search directly on United.com. Since you are searching for award flights and these prices are exclusive to United cardholders, you need to log in to your United MileagePlus account to accurately see which flights are eligible at these rates.

Once you’re logged in, simply search for your desired flight and book.

IMPORTANT: When searching, you will see that most availability is for United first class with a connection. However, there is some nonstop availability on United’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which features lie-flat seats and a 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access. This is the one that you want to book (easiest way to check is to click on seats and look at the configuration)
