2026 CO Free Concert Series: Tunes For Trails (Castle Rock) | Full Lineup & Guide

Castle Rock stages a series of monthly concerts called Tunes For Trails this summer. Concerts take place on the third Thursday of the month at the outdoor amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. While the concerts are free, the hope is that donations from music lovers will help support the city’s Parks and Trails Foundation.

Tunes For Trails Lineup

  • June 18: The Rick Lewis Project / High-energy, genre-blending all-star band that delivers powerful performances spanning rock, soul, funk, blues, and more
  • July 16: That Eighties Band / One of the most popular ’80s tribute bands in America
  • August 20: Santa Rios / Nine-piece ensemble pays homage to Santana’s iconic music, blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with Blues and Rock
  • September 17: Ninety Percent 90s / Premier 3-piece cover band, bringing the best (and worst) hits of the 90s

Good To Know

  • From 6:30 – 9 PM at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park
  • Gates open at 5:30 PM with the concert beginning at 6:30 PM
  • Pack a blanket or lawn chair
  • Pack a picnic as you can bring food to the free concerts. Food and alcohol will also be available for purchase. 
  • Please note: No outside beverages are allowed except for ONE factory-sealed water bottle per person. Guests may also bring empty reusable water bottles to use at the provided water-filling station.
  • Although this is a free event, donations for The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation are appreciated. Profits from beverage sales also contribute to the fundraising efforts.

  • Should I bring a chair? Yes! You may bring any type of lawn chair.
  • Can I bring food and drink? No outside beverages are allowed, but one sealed water bottle per person is permitted. Food is allowed. Bag checks will be conducted at the entrance. 
    • Empty, reusable water bottles are allowed, and refill stations are provided.
  • What can? Yes! Re-entry is permitted for both ticketed and free concerts, but you will be subject to a bag and wristband check upon return.
  • Can I bring my dog? Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome!
  • Can I leave and re-enter? Yes! Re-entry is permitted for both ticketed and free concerts, but you will be subject to a bag and wristband check upon return.
  • What happens if it rains? Free concerts are rain or shine. Shows may be delayed, but if weather conditions don’t improve before 9 PM, the event will be canceled. Stay updated via our social media channels. Please check the forecast and be prepared for Colorado’s changing weather by packing a poncho and/or rain gear when necessary. No umbrellas are allowed.

What Can’t I Bring?

  • Alcohol
  • Glass containers (empty, reusable water bottles are allowed, but may not be glass)
  • Marijuana (any form)
  • Outside beverages of any kind (except one sealed water bottle per person)

Location & Parking

Phillip S Miller Park Amphitheater: 1375 W Plum Creek Pkwy, Castle Rock, CO 80109

Parking: Parking is free! / There are a limited number of accessible parking spaces in the upper lot. Please see an attendant for drop-off access or golf cart transportation from the south side of the soccer field to the Amphitheater. 

Overflow parking: If parking is not available within the park, a parking crew member will direct you to the overflow parking area east or north of the park.
