Steamboat Free Summer Concert Lineup

  • Friday, June 19: Lettuce – funk, soul, jazz, rock, and hip-hop / Opening Act: TBA
  • Saturday, July 11: BoomBox – Electronic rock duo / Opening Act: TBA
  • Saturday, July 18: Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe (A Celebration of Jimmy Cliff) – funk, jazz, soul, rock, and R&B / Opening Act: Bonfire Dub – Colorado-based band that blends folk, reggae, rock, and Americana
  • Saturday, July 25: The Travelin’ McCourys – Bluegrass · progressive bluegrass / Opening Act: TBA
  • Sunday, September 6: End of Summer Jam with Anders Osborne – Southern rock, Americana, blues, and R&B. / Opening Act: TBA

Good To Know

  • Gates generally open at 5:30 PM with music starting around 6:00 PM.
  • Admission: All concerts in the summer series are free and open to the public (attendance averaging between 3,500 to 7,000 per event!)
  • What to Bring: Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or low-back chairs for seating comfort. While outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are typically permitted, alcohol and glass containers are prohibited. Food and beverage vendors are available on-site.
  • Weather: Concerts proceed rain or shine. It’s advisable to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. It often cools off quite a bit in the summer when the sun goes down, so be sure to bring layers for the evening. 

Location & Parking/Transportation

Venue: Howelsen Hill Ski Area, 845 Howelsen Pkwy, Steamboat Springs, CO Concerts are held at the base of Howelsen Hill in downtown Steamboat Springs, providing a picturesque setting for attendees and easy walking distance from the many great restaurants, bars, and vacation rentals downtown. 

Head downtown early. Street parking and public lots fill up quickly, but getting to the venue is a breeze using Steamboat’s free bus service. Consider using public transportation, biking, or walking to the venue to ease congestion.
