What Are Marriott Moments 1-Point Drops?

For select events throughout the year, Marriott Bonvoy offers experiences for just 1 point. Note that this will not apply to all Marriott Bonvoy Moments^™ and that there are limited number of these Moments will be offered for just one point on a first-come, first-served basis.

In order to redeem a 1-Point Drop Moment, you must be an active Marriott Bonvoy^® member with at least one (1) point in your account prior to redemption. Members can redeem only one (1) package across all 1-Point Drop Moments per calendar year. This means members will only be able to redeem one (1) 1-Point Drop package either for 1 point or through auction. Once you redeem your one (1) package, you will not be able to redeem any other 1-Point Drop Moments.

Is There A Catch? Any strategies?

There are only a very limited number of these packages (for example there are only twelve for each drop) so it’s a matter of timing – you must act very fast to win this.

The photo on the left is when you sign into your account and are on the 1 Point drop page, click on “View Moments” and you will be brought to the page shown on the photo on the right.

You’ll need to refresh the page right before drop time (but not too early). I was able to hit redeem now but others were faster…but I remain ever optimistic.

If you have the opportunities, use multiple devices (Phone + laptop simultaneously) + I always try different browsers if possible

Expect chaos as this is like trying to score Taylor Swift Era tickets but are even more elusive.

Reality Check

Let’s be honest for a second as neither you nor I will probably win since there are so few chances versus the number of people attempting to get tickets. But if you do somehow score these tickets, the cost was only 1 Marriott point! This my friends, is why I love miles and points so much!
