Downtown Boulder is the site of the city’s popular summer music series: Bands on the Bricks with rock, reggae, jazz and everything in between.

  • June 10: North Fork Crossing / New-age Bluegrass band that resides between the Traditional and Jamgrass and explores a vast terrain of genres / Opening Act: Elle Michelle’s Grateful Holler / Featured Brewery: Breckenridge Brewing / Pride Night, Sponsored by Bob & Katy Yates
  • June 17: The Velvet Daydream / A band well known for bringing back the “classic rock show” / Opening Act: School of Rock Boulder / Featured Brewery: Breckenridge Brewing / CU Night

Good To Know

  • The beer garden opens at 5:30 PM
  • Happy Hour goes from 5:30 – 6:30 PM and features $2 off any beverage of choice.
  • The opening band starts at 6:00 PM
  • The headliners play from 7 – 9 PM

Colorado Passport Live Music Pass

This year’s series also joins a statewide celebration as part of Colorado’s America 250 – Colorado 150 initiative through the Colorado Passport Program’s Live Music Pass, presented by the Colorado Tourism Office.

Attendees who check in at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center during event hours can redeem one free canned cocktail, glass of wine, or non-alcoholic beverage (restrictions apply). 

Location

Festivities take place on the plaza in front of the courthouse in the heart of Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall, between 13th St. and 14th St., Boulder.
