Set on the shores of Lake Dillon with panoramic mountain views, Mountain Music Mondays at Dillon Amphitheater has become one of Summit County’s most beloved summer traditions. Each Monday evening throughout the summer, nationally touring artists and rising stars take the stage at the iconic Dillon Amphitheater for free concerts open to all ages.
Whether you’re visiting Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, or staying in Dillon itself, this weekly concert series is one of the best free things to do in Summit County.
What Is Mountain Music Mondays?
Mountain Music Mondays is Dillon Amphitheater’s annual free summer concert series featuring artists from a variety of genres and musical styles. From Grammy-winning, singer-songwriters to classical orchestras, rootsy folk rock, jam bands and multicultural/world music, the Dillon Amphitheater is the place to be on Monday evenings and will have something for everyone this summer.
Most shows include opening sets from local bands and artists. Join your friends and neighbors as we celebrate our community free shows with nationally-touring artists and up-and-coming stars!
Tickets and/or preregistration are not required for free shows, unless specifically communicated on that events page. You simply arrive, find a spot on the lawn, and enjoy live music against one of Colorado’s most scenic backdrops.

Doors open at 5 PM (1 hour prior to start of show) and all shows are rain or shine.
- June 15: Fruition with Magoo / Americana bands blending folk storytelling with impressive harmonies and elements of rock / 6 – 10 PM
- June 22: The Polish Ambassador with DJ Chiilla / Electronic artist that brings feel-good global funk beats to the masses for all / 6 – 10 PM
- June 29: National Repertory Orchestra / Classical orchestra performing symphonic repertoire ranging from traditional to contemporary works / 6 – 8 PM
- SUNDAY July 5 – SPECIAL HOLIDAY SHOW : 101st Army Band featuring 101st Army Mountain Brass Band and the 101st Army Country Band / Military band playing patriotic, jazz, country, rock, and popular music; free Sunday concert / 6 – 8 PM
- July 6: Queen Nation with special guest Frisco Funk Collective / Iconic tribute band dedicated to recreating the classic rock sound and performances of Queen / 6 – 10 PM
- July 13: Black Uhuru with special guest High Five / Grammy-award winning reggae group known for roots reggae with strong rhythms and socially conscious lyrics / 6 – 10 PM

About Dillon Amphitheater
Located at 135 W. Lodgepole Street in Dillon, Colorado, the amphitheater sits directly on the shores of Lake Dillon with sweeping views of the Tenmile Range and surrounding Rocky Mountains. The venue has gained a national reputation for combining world-class live music with one of the most picturesque outdoor settings in Colorado
The venue hosts both free and ticketed events throughout the summer, including concerts, movies, yoga classes, and community events.
Bag + Chair Policy
Dillon Amphitheater uses a clear bag policy for all events. Each ticket holder, including children, may carry an approved clear bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ OR a one-gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar) OR a hydration pack (empty and max of 2 liters), and a small clutch bag or purse, no larger than 6.5″ x 4.5″, with or without a strap. All other types of bags and containers will be prohibited.
Additional info for Bag Policy:
- Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag; diaper bags are not permitted.
- Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are permitted if carried loosely or in an approved clear bag.
- Blankets should be carried over the shoulder to be screened more quickly.
- Cell phones may be carried loosely or in an approved bag.
- Water bottles are permitted as long as they are empty and 32 oz or less.
- Guests will be asked to either take prohibited items back to their car or dispose of prohibited items at the gate as there is no bag check

Food, Drinks & Concessions
The Dillon Amphitheater beverage concession stands are 100% cashless. The amphitheater offers onsite food and beverage vendors during concerts.
Outside food is permitted as long as it fits within the venue bag policies. Picnics and commercially-sealed, non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Outside alcohol is not permitted and will be confiscated.
Accessibility
- Dillon Amphitheater offers accessibility accommodations designed to ensure all guests can enjoy performances comfortably.
- ACCESSIBLE SEATING: Accessible seating during free concerts is first-come, first-served. If you require accessible seating, it is recommended you come early. Folding chairs are provided by the venue for free events as well as ticketed events.
- ACCESSIBLE PARKING: Designated accessible parking during events is also located in the Dillon Amphitheater parking lot at 135 W. Lodgepole Street. A valid disability placard or license plate is required to park in an accessible parking space. The person with whom registration of the disability placard or license plate belongs to, must be in the vehicle and identification will be required. - Pack Sunscreen:The high-altitude Colorado sun can be intense during afternoon and early evening hours.
- Bring a Blanket: A lightweight blanket makes the experience more comfortable for enjoying the live music on the lawn seating
- Arrive Early: The best lawn spots fill quickly for popular artists.
- Stay for Sunset: One of the highlights of attending a concert at Dillon Amphitheater is watching the sun set over Lake Dillon while music plays in the background.

- Are Mountain Music Mondays really free? Yes – concerts in the series are free and do not require tickets or registration.
- Do I need reservations? Admission is first-come, first-served.
- What Time Should You Arrive? Gates open at 5 PM (one hour before start of show) / Entry is first-come, first-served. If venue capacity is reached, admission shifts to a one-in, one-out basis. Arriving early is strongly recommended for popular artists.
- Can I leave and re-enter? Yes. Re-entry is generally allowed during free concerts unless the venue has reached capacity.
- Can I bring my dog? Pets are not permitted during events, with the exception of service animals.
- What happens if the venue reaches capacity? The amphitheater will operate on a one-in, one-out basis until attendance decreases. Arriving early is the best way to guarantee entry.

Location: Dillon Amphitheater 135 W. Lodgepole Street Dillon, Colorado 80435
Driving Directions: Take exit 205 from I-70. Head east on Highway 6 toward Dillon and Keystone. Take a right onto Lake Dillon Drive. The Dillon Amphitheater is located at the intersection of Lake Dillon Drive and Lodgepole Street.
Free Parking: Free event parking is available in 10 town-owned parking lots, and on many town streets, all within a 10-minute walk to the venue. Event parking is not permitted at the Dillon Post Office, you may be towed.
Paid Parking: Premium parking will be available in the Dillon Amphitheater Parking Lot located adjacent to the Dillon Amphitheater for all paid shows at the Dillon Amphitheater. The lot will open for those with reservations at 2 p.m. the day of the show. Parking prior to 2 p.m. is prohibited. Purchase premium parking
Ride a Bike: The Dillon Amphitheater provides complimentary bicycle parking directly in front of the amphitheater. Don’t forget to BYOL (bring your own lock)! Dillon Amphitheater is connected to all of greater Summit County via the Summit County Recreation Path.
Public Transportation: One of the easiest ways to reach the amphitheater is via the Summit Stage, Summit County’s free public transportation system. Routes connect Dillon with: Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Silverthorne and Blue River; plus Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Breckenridge Ski Resort, Copper Mountain, and Keystone Resort.
