It’s BACK! Limited Time Offer INCLUDES A Free Night Reward on ALL Hilton Amex Cards!!
Now is the time to act on these incredible offers for ALL Amex Hilton credit cards as the welcome bonuses now include Free Night Awards! This is too good of a deal to pass on ~ so much so that I’m taking advantage of one as well! Note that the offer ends April 15, 2026!
What Makes This Such A Good Deal?
Simple – the welcome bonus offers include points and a Free Night Reward (FNR) including on the no annual fee card!
Why is a free night award from Hilton so valuable? They are valid for ANY day of the week and can be used for ANY standard reward night (even if the standard award night would cost 110,000 or 190,000 or even 250,000 points with cash values of hundreds/thousands of dollars!) at almost EVERY Hilton Property. For more on the FNR including how to maximize them, read this post.
Let’s compare to other hotel credit cards that offer free nights rewards/awards (FNA) – a Hyatt credit card offers a FNA for a category 1-4 hotel on your anniversary and a Marriott card offers 35K, 50K or 85K points free night awards (depending on which card you have) so you can see how your choice is very restricted with property choice with other hotels’ free night awards.

As always, DISCLAIMER for credit cards is that you should only consider getting these cards if 1. you are able to pay off your balances every month – if you pay interest, those rates are so high that they will negate ALL rewards and 2. if you are not spending more money than you would otherwise. (Some posts that might be helpful: refresher on credit cards / intro to travel hacking /8 top tips for travel hacking).
FULL DISCLOSURE if you use one of my referrals link and get approved for a card, I will receive referral credit – the offers are the exact same as the public offers. There is no additional cost to you but by using my links, you help with the ever increasing costs for maintaining this site.

Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card

The offer for the Hilton Honors Aspire Credit Card (Annual fee: $550): Earn 175,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points & a Free Night Award after spending $6,000 in purchases on the Hilton Honors Aspire Card in the first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer ends 4/29/2025. Read why this is one of my favorite credit cards here
What to consider before applying:
While these really are incredible deals – you should only get these card(s) if you are committed to using the Free Night Reward within the next year or so. The reward expires one year from date of issue and the stay must be completed BEFORE the expiry day – per Hilton, the Free Night Reward will be forfeited if not redeemed on or before the expiration date (there are no exceptions to this!)
Note that the welcome bonuses are given after you have met the minimum spend requirement.
Remember that Amex has a “one per lifetime” policy for earning welcome offers, but a pop-up window should let you know if you’re not eligible for a bonus before you submit your application. Thankfully, having one type of Hilton Amex card doesn’t prevent you from getting a different one as your needs change.
Can You Really Use The Free Night Awards ANYWHERE?
Yes – really as long as there is a standard room bookable on points! Even to the aspirational Waldorf Astoria where a room will now cost 250,000 points!

The most aspirational redemption would be using Free Night Rewards for a stay at either the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island (standard room: Beach Villa or Sunrise Water Villa – adults only for 120K/night with rates starting ~ $800) or Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi (standard room: King Reef Villa with Pool for 250,000 points/night with rates starting ~ $2000). One thing I love about Hilton free night rewards is that taxes and fees (especially those pesky resort) are waived! If you and your travel partner teamed up (or if you get two of the cards), you could potentially stay on free night rewards and points for 4 nights just from the welcome bonuses! Be forewarned though that getting to the Maldives is a long journey and that you’ll have to pay for additional transport from the Male airport to these resorts and those start at $500+. Note that with free night rewards you will need to be able to find a standard night award and then call into Hilton to book that night. I would reach out to the hotel as soon as all the nights are booked to see if they would combine/link the reservations so that you aren’t put in the position of having to change rooms during your stay!
Another good possibility for redemption would be the Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort since Maui is a bit more accessible for most than the Maldives. The standard room would be a Terrace View for 110K points/night with rates starting ~$900!
Some other properties that provide especially great value would be the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Conrad New York, Conrad Bora Bora (FYI: another property that has an expensive transfer once you have landed in PPT in Tahiti) or WA Park City for the ski season!
Where Have I Used My Free Night Rewards?

I had an unforgettable experience at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal – read about the incredible upgrade that I scored here!

If white sand beaches and a Caribbean getaway without cruise ships and large resorts is what you are seeking, consider Anguilla and stay at Zemi Beach House as I did! Here’s what the hotel was like and here’s how I was able to have a very posh vacay at a very low price!
If you have been hunting for a way to have one of your bucket list vacations, these cards may be the answer that you are looking for! Where would you go with your free night award?
