LATEST Marriott Promotion: Earn 2,500 Bonus Points per Stay + 1 Bonus Elite Night per Brand Through May 10

Marriott has unveiled their quarter 1 promotion and it is an interesting one that has two separate parts: first, you earn 2,500 Bonus Points per Stay and the second is that you can earn 1 Bonus Elite Night per Brand

The Promotion

Find more places to shine with 2,500 bonus points on each stay. Plus, get 1 bonus Elite Night Credit for each brand you try.

• Register now through 11:59pm on April 26, 2026
• Earn on stays from February 25 through May 10 and
  • Earn 2,500 bonus Points on each post-registration eligible paid stay during the 75-day promotion earning period
  • In addition, earn one bonus Elite Night Credit for each different eligible hotel brand

Terms and Conditions for This Promotion

• Registration of your Marriott Bonvoy® Account is required. 
• The promotion earning period is for eligible paid stays completed between 12:00am on February 25, 2026, and 11:59pm on May 10, 2026
• Note that only stays booked through Marriott Channels and other Qualifying Channels which include, but are not limited to: Marriott Websites, the Mobile Apps, Participating Properties, and the Customer Engagement Centers are eligible
  • Award redemption stays, including Cash + Points Awards, Free Night Awards, or a Points redemption stay, are not eligible for the promotion. 
  • Rates available through most third-party online retailers and select travel agency rates do not qualify for this promotion (“Non-Qualifying Rate“)
  • Stays at BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments®, and owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club®, Grand Residences by Marriott®, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Club, The St. Regis Residence Club, and The Luxury Collection Residence Club, are not eligible for bonus Points or bonus Elite Night Credits for this promotion
• Only one room at one property per stay is counted toward a member’s eligible paid stays for the promotion
• The 2,500 bonus Points will be awarded to the member’s Account within 10 business days after checkout and will post with the stay.
• One bonus Elite Night Credit per each brand stay will be posted up to 6 weeks after the Promotion has ended
  • Elite Night Credits will count only toward the status year in which they are posted. 
• A Member who elects to earn Miles is not eligible for this promotion.

My Thoughts

So why did I say that this promotion was “interesting”? It is a scaled down version from some of the previous Marriott promotion such as the 2,500 points is per stay vs for each night. But for many, the Q1 promotions were exciting as they allowed them to get a jumpstart on elite status (re)qualification with elite status bonus nights on all eligible paid nights but now it will be limited to once per brand.

Remember that the promotion only is for eligible paid rates booked directly with Marriott. And that award redemption stays, including Cash + Points Awards, Free Night Awards, or a Points redemption stay, are not eligible.

Even so, I did sign up for it as I always do with Marriott promotions in the off chance that I do a paid stay and did encounter some hiccups doing so which seem to affect a number of others as well. I got an error message and had to log in again to my Marriott account and then was able to successfully register. You can register for the promotion here
