New Offer Alert: Up to $1000 in Travel with ONE Card Offer
2025’s first big credit card offer has finally arrived!
The Capital One Venture Rewards credit card is offering a sign up bonus of 75,000 miles after you spend $4000 in the first three months after account opening PLUS a $250 Capital One travel credit – valid for your first cardholder year.
While you could redeem those 75,000 (it will actually be at least 83,000 miles since you earn 2x on the 4000 minimum spend requirement), you will get substantially more value from these points when transferring to one of Capital One’s nineteen travel partners such as Air Canada, Turkish Airlines, EVA Air, or Air France.
The annual fee of this card is $95 which is not only offset by the increased welcome bonus BUT this card also comes with up to $120 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck (beautiful tip: you should just get Global Entry since you’re also automatically enrolled in PreCheck).

Need a refresher on credit - here you go? Not sure what a sign up bonus is - read this? Here's what you need to know about minimum spend requirements. Need more help - reach out! I offer free mini coaching sessions. Make sure you have a game plan (I have seen it happen too many times when people rush into travel hacking and end up hitting up against card issuers' rules they didn't know about!) - I also offer coaching on meeting spending requirements!

Allow me to explain why I love these flexible points/miles credit cards. If you were to use your Capital One miles in the Capital One travel portal, you would have a set value (each mile = $.01 so 75,000 miles = $750.00). So how do you get more value when transferring to a Capital One travel partner? The flight price isn’t directly correlated to the Capital One miles value – here’s an example. I flew Singapore Airlines in a lie-flat business class seat that was selling for $2,195.30 – if booked through Capital One travel portal, you would need to redeem 219,530 Capital One miles! Instead I paid $5.60 and used 56,700 Singapore Air Miles: Capital One transfers at a 1:1 ratio so it would have been 56,700 Capital One Miles AND ONE BIG (and beneficial) perk for Capital One is that the minimum transfer amount is 1,000 but then you are able to transfer in 100 increments (unlike the others where you have to transfer in 1000 increments!)
